What does the Tropical Quad tour include?

🕒 How long does the Tropical Quad tour last?

It is an excursion of full day, The total duration depends on the collection point and the operational dynamics of the day.

• 🚐 Hotel pick up: between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m.
• 🏨 Approximate return: at 5:00 p.m.
• 📲 Confirmation of exact schedule: the day before, between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m.

💡 Important: is a full day off-road adventure. We recommend you to rest well the night before, wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to drive the quad in different types of terrain.

🚜 Do I need previous experience to drive the quad?

It is not necessary. Before starting the tour you will receive a brief instruction on the operation of the quad and the basic rules of driving the tour.

💡 Good to know:

• The driver must be of legal age and, if possible, have basic experience driving motorized vehicles.
• The tour is made by rural trails and mixed terrain; The driving is under your own responsibility following the guide's indications.
• We recommend you to wear comfortable clothing and closed shoes.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Is the Tropical Quad tour suitable for children or senior citizens?

This off-road adventure tour has specific age requirements for security reasons. Please read them carefully before booking.

🚜 To drive the quad

• ✅ Minimum age: 16 years old
• 👨 Persons of legal age in good physical condition
• 📌 Previous experience with motorized vehicles is recommended, but not mandatory (basic instruction is provided prior to the tour).

🧒 As a passenger

• ✅ Children from 2 years old can ride as passengers between the two representatives
• 👶 Not recommended for children under 2 years of age

• 🤰 Pregnant women
• 🦴 Persons with severe back, hip or knee problems (the course involves vibration and uneven terrain)
• ♿ People in a wheelchair or with very limited mobility

💡 Recommendation: as this is an off-road activity with constant vibration and mixed terrain, we suggest that you assess the physical condition of each member of the group before booking, especially if you are traveling with elderly people or small children.

🎒 What should I bring to the Tropical Quad tour?

To make the most of your day of adventure, we recommend you to bring:

• 🌞 Sunscreen and cap
• 🕶️ Sunglasses (important for dust and wind when driving)
• 👕 Comfortable clothing that you don't mind making a mess
• 👟 Closed shoes (sneakers or tennis shoes; no flip-flops on the quad)
• 🩱 Bathing suit and towel for the stop in Playa Limón and Costa Esmeralda
• 👚 Extra change of dry clothes for the return
• 🦟 Insect repellent (important in trail areas)
• 📸 Camera or waterproof case for photos on the swings and the beach
• 💰 Cash for optional expenses, gratuities or additional packs

⚠️ Baggage restrictions:

• No luggage or suitcases are allowed. Only small bags or backpacks for personal items.
• If you show up with unallowed baggage, the team may deny boarding for space and security constraints.
• Avoid carrying valuables, The company has no jewelry, passports, passports or important documents. The company is not responsible for for loss or damage.

🌦️ What happens if the weather is not favorable?

The tour runs normally even with light rains, which can add excitement to the off-road tour. However, if the weather or terrain conditions are not favorable to drive the quads safely, we will contact you to offer you:

• 📅 Reprogramming for another available date
• 💰 Full refund of the amount paid

🛟 Safety is our priority. The final decision on the departure is in the hands of the guide and the operational team, always prioritizing the well-being of the participants.

⚠️ Important: this policy applies only when the company cancels for safety reasons. Cancellations made by the client are governed by the cancellation policy specific to this tour (75% refund if notice is given before 5:00 p.m. the day before).
